The Art of Winnie the Pooh

Winnie‑the‑Pooh follows the lovable teddy bear Pooh and his friends as they explore the Hundred Acre Wood, solve small problems, and enjoy simple adventures.

Alan Milne’s son, Christopher Robin Milne, was inspired by a real teddy bear named Winnie, a cub from Canada that had been a mascot for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment during World War I . Christopher Robin was allowed to play with Winnie at the London Zoo, and Milne later based Pooh and his friends on Christopher Robin’s stuffed toys   Wikipedia
